BIOGRAPHY

Ludwig Wandinger lives and works in Berlin, as a drummer, 

producer, visual artist, and mixing engineer.

 

He has worked and performed with a variety of forward thinking musicians and artists such as Kianí del Valle, Luka Aron, Grischa Lichtenberger, Elvin Brandhi, Brodinski, Sara Persico, Jim Black, Keith Rankin, the Notwist, Plus X, the Berliner Ensemble, Kirke Karja, Evita Manji, Dan Nicholls, House of Base, Philipp Gropper, Macie Stewart, Luka Aron, John Object, Wanja Slavin, Elias Stemeseder, Fausto Mercier, Kathrin Pechlof, Greg Cohen, Donnie Fredericks, Petter Eldh, Moran Sanderovich, Robot Koch, Lucia Cadotsch, Ken Vandermark and many more. 

 

His solo and collaborational music got released on genre-defying labels such as Orange Milk Records, Gin and Platonic, Mutants Mixtape, Acna Rusd, A flooded need, PAN, Average Negative and Genot Centre.

 

Over the years he had the chance to go perform in Ecuador, China, Switzerland, Vietnam, France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Indonesia, Iceland, Austria, Romania, Finland, Estonia, and Norway with highlight festivals being the likes of Jazz Fest Berlin, Moers Festival,

A l´Arme Festival, 3hd Festival, Punkt Festival, Jazzfestival Reykjavik and many more.

His multimedia digital art gets released under the moniker "kirschbluetenimwind" and has been presented at the "Digital Fog" exhibition at Urban Contemporary in Berlin 2022, the Keyframe Digital Art Festival in Vienna, the Pop Up Gallery Berlin and the "Mana Exhibition" in Shibuya, Tokyo.

 

Furthermore, from 2017 to 2022, he was organizing and curating a monthly happening concert series at the "Zukunft am Ostkreuz", which is named "Future Bash", which happened more than fifty times.
